What is Homeward Youth CAMP?
Homeward Youth Camp is an immersive summer experience for motivated teens who have grown up in families committed to Christian missions and evangelism, especially those who wish to pursue an advanced education after finishing high school. The program is designed to help prepare students for early adulthood, whether they plan on pursuing an advanced education, transitioning to a career in a western nation, or continuing in the missions field.
Through a variety of activities, students will make lasting friendships with peers from around the world and be enriched by faith and fellowship. Our classes and workshops will allow them to explore their interests and discover new ones, and go home with new skills in preparation for adulthood.
What’s At Camp
Classes & Workshops
Every weekday, our campers will have the opportunity to attend classes and workshops that will prepare them to enter college in the US or to continue in ministry after high school. Our staff will teach educational crash courses on various topics, such as web development, probability/statistics, etc. We will also offer workshops consisting of fun activities and practical knowledge, such as college application essay writing, various sports and financial management.
Activities
We will host various activities—including team building exercises, sports games, and other forms of physical exercise—to give campers the opportunity to get to know one another and form friendships. In addition, since we will be near New York City, we will facilitate weekend outings to various venues such as arcades and museums in the city.
Worship Sessions
Services will include worship and teachings, from our team and invited ministry guests. Additionally, we’ll all go to Alabaster Group church services each Sunday morning.
Who we are
Alabaster Group exists to glorify Jesus Christ and to work towards expanding the influence of his gospel everywhere our members live and work.
Our primary ministry is to a group of 10 distinguished university campuses in the Northeast United States. For the past 12 years, our team has devoted itself to reaching the students on these campuses and strengthening their commitment to the gospel of Jesus Christ.
